PASO ROBLES (CA) – The California Mid-State Fair is pleased to announce that WAR has been confirmed to perform two shows, on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at 6:30 and 8:30 pm on the Frontier Stage. WAR’s performances will be free with your paid admission to the Fair.
One of the most popular funk groups of the 70’s, WAR was also one of the most eclectic bands, freely melding soul, Latin, jazz, blue, reggae, and rock influences into a funky whole. You’ll best remember WAR from hits such as “Why Can’t We Be Friends”, “Low Rider”, and “The Cisco Kid”.
The 2017 California Mid-State Fair runs July 19 through July 30. This year’s theme is “Come One, Come All…”
