The California Mid-State Fair is proud to announce its Central Coast Olive Oil Competition results from the 2025 competition which featured premier oils produced across California. Taking home the Best of Show awards were the following:
After calculations, Sunshine Olive Oil has been named the 2025 Olive Oil Producer of the Year. It was a close race between multiple producers, but the Templeton California family-run business had 11 total entries entered and all 11 received medals: Best of Class Picual and Best of Class Italian Blends Medium. 2 Double Golds, 8 Golds and 1 Silver. They will receive a custom-made belt buckle, placing the Central Coast Olive Oil Competition logo amongst an array of jewels.
All entries were also judged on their marketing efforts as part of the Central Coast Packaging and Design Competition. The winner are:
