Ticket Purchasing Information
On-Sale Ticket Purchasing Procedure
6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. – For customers wanting to line up at the CMSF Administration Gate, which is located on the south side of the Administration Building. The line will form to the south on the sidewalk only.
NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING PERMITTED IN THE FAIRGROUND’S PARKING LOTS.
Security will be on site to ensure that no one arrives prior to the 6:00 a.m. and security will enforce the ‘NO PARKING SIGNS’ that will be located in front of the Fair Administration Office.
At 7:30 a.m.:
• Security will escort all customers that are in line, inside the Administration Gate
• Numbered wristbands are be placed on each person’s wrist with the corresponding numbered tab being placed inside the draw box
• When everyone inside the gate has a wristband, security will pull out of the draw box one numbered tab
• The number that is drawn will be first in line
• The line will run sequentially in numerical order from that number
Example: We give out numbers 1-10; we pull number 5; the line begins with number 5, then 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 1, 2, 3, 4
This procedure ensures that there will be no running, pushing, or fighting come 7:30 a.m. It also ensures that the customers that have played by our rules and come by 7:30 a.m. have just a good of chance at being first in line as people that are here at 6:00 a.m. This also gives each person the opportunity to stay in line and wait to purchase tickets here at the California Mid-State Fair Box Office or choose to go home and purchase tickets on the website or by phone.
Please Note: Everyone arriving after 7:30 a.m. will line up outside the Administration Office gate. Once the original wristband line is completed, this gate will be opened to assist the remaining customers.
At 10:00 a.m.:
• All ticket venues and sites will open at 10:00 a.m. for ticket purchasing.

Methods of accepted payments:
CMSF Box Office: cash, check with proper ID, Visa or MasterCard – with appropriate and matching ID (Minors will not be permitted to use cards in parents name, even with written permission).
Vallitix Outlets: cash, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express – with appropriate and matching ID (Minors will not be permitted to use cards in parents name, even with written permission).

General Hours of Operation:
CMSF Box Office and Call Center: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday
Vallitix Call Center: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday and 10:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday

CMSF Box Office hours of operation will be extended as we get closer to Fair and show dates.
