The annual talent show always kicks off our Fair, and this year is no different. Don't miss some of the most talented, cutest kids in our area. The talent show will take place on opening day, Wednesday, July 21st at the Albertsons/Pepsi Headliner Stage at 4p.

KC Masterpiece "Real Deal" Recipe Contest
FRI - JUL 23 - 6p
Come compete in the KC Masterpiece “Real Deal” Recipe Contest for the “best barbecue” and best “wild card” creation at the fair! Think authentic BBQ taste, think KC Masterpiece. The top three finishers at each fair win a pair of tickets to the fair’s 2010 Keith Urban concert! The first place winner in each of the two categories also wins a “Backstage Barbecue Experience,” a VIP pre-show event featuring an intimate acoustic performance by Keith Urban and a group photo opportunity!

Sand's Apple Pie Contest

Who bakes the best apple pie on the central coast? We’ll find out Tuesday, July 27th, when the Sands Suites & Motel presents the 3rd annual apple pie baking contest. Just bring your apple pie to the Main Administration building at the Fair anytime before 5:00p on Tuesday, July 27th to enter - it’s FREE - and there are lots of prizes for the winners!
