Sheena Easton Booked!
The California Mid-State Fair is pleased to announce that Sheena Easton has been booked to perform on the Frontier Stage Saturday, July 31st at 6:30p & 8:30p. Easton’s performances will be free with your paid admission to the Fair.
Sheena Easton’s career has spanned the last 30 years, with early musical influences including Motown, Barbra Streisand, rock and 70’s soul. Her recording career has included Gold and Platinum albums in the United States, Europe and Asia. She has received two Grammys, and was the first artist to have top five records on five different Billboard charts. Easton rose to fame in the early 1980’s with pop hits “9 to 5” – known as “Morning Train” – “Sugar Walls” and “For Your Eyes Only”.
Easton has also made frequent appearances in Las Vegas where she has been a major attraction for the last decade, and as a testament to her success, she was recently inducted into the Las Vegas Hall Of Fame.
The 2010 California Mid-State Fair runs July 21, 2010, through August 1, 2010. This year’s theme is “Endless Summer Fun.”
